Are these courses conducted online or in person?

All of our courses take place entirely online. All you need is a computer and an internet connection.

Are these programs full-time or part-time?

Our programs are designed to go “at your own schedule.” Most students spend 15-20 hours/week. However, the program is asynchronous, so, if you want to spend more time, you can finish it faster than average with the continued aid of our support teams.

Do I need to purchase any software to take a program?

All of the tools required to complete our programs successfully are included in the tuition.

How many hours of work will it be?

The Data Analytics and Data Science Bootcamps are both ~400+ hour courses. Most students complete the course in 6 months, devoting 15-20 hours/week.

You should expect to take the full 6-7 months, but can aim to complete in less time if you are: highly proficient in analytics or programming; are ready to devote more time per week to complete the curriculum materials; and are driven and disciplined with managing your study schedule.

Are there any prerequisites for these courses?

The Data Science Bootcamp recommends students have a strong background in probability and statistics and should be very comfortable enough in programming to pick up a new language using resources on the web. However, if you don’t have this background when joining the course, don’t worry! We’ve included a short addition to the program, including mentorship and support, that gives you time to learn the fundamentals before diving into the material. All you need to do is speak with an Enrollment Advisor and they’ll help you with the next steps.

The Data Analytics Bootcamp recommends students have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as at least 2 years of professional experience working regularly with office, design, or programming tools.

Is a bachelor's degree required?

If you don’t have a degree, you are welcome to apply with the understanding that not having a degree may be a barrier to landing certain roles. All students receive comprehensive career support, regardless of degree level.
